Jeff Chesky

Jeffrey Chesky, President & CEO

Mr. Chesky was the Founder & President of Banc Insurance Services, Inc., where he pioneered the design, installation, and outsourced management of insurance agencies for financial institutions nationally. BIS was purchased by Jack Henry & Associates, the nation’s leading bank core processing company in 2004. (JKHY – NASDAQ). In 2008, Mr. Chesky led a group of private investors in a buyout of BIS from Jack Henry, and renamed the company Insuritas.

Mr. Chesky also pioneered the development of the nation’s leading management consulting practice for insurance agency integration strategies for bank acquired insurance agencies post acquisition, called the Agency Integration Management Group.

Mr. Chesky has over 20 years experience in the banking and insurance fields. Over that time, he has served as a Senior Vice President of one of the nation's 100 largest insurance agencies, Director of Institutional Investment Management at Mass Mutual Insurance Company, and Vice President of mortgage lending at both Fleet Bank and Bank of New England. Mr. Chesky also had the distinguished honor to serve on the White House staffs of President Jimmy Carter and Vice President Walter Mondale and on the personal staff of Governor Michael Dukakis.

Sandy Fehrs

Sandy Fehrs, Chief Operating Officer

Ms. Fehrs has overall responsibility for the Insuritas Master Agency. Her responsibilities include managing customer service, sales support, personal lines, commercial lines, policy servicing and claims. Sandy joined the organization in June 2006. During her tenure with Insuritas, Ms. Fehrs has built policy production and retention strategies that are redefining traditional insurance distribution models in America. The success of these models has helped push Insuritas to the forefront of consolidated distribution models for insurance nationally.

Ms. Fehrs enjoyed a 14 year career with The Hartford Insurance Group where she developed expertise in insurance platform management. At The Hartford she played an integral role as a member of the team that successfully designed and deployed business initiatives in the Affinity Services Group, the AARP program and the Hartford Insurance Group’s retail delivery and service platforms.

Paul Fisher

Paul Fisher, Chief Technology Officer

Paul Fisher joined Insuritas in January 2006 in the role of Technology Manager. Since that time he has guided the design, implementation and development of the technology, telecommunications and reporting environment that the master agency operates on, and the connectivity that ties the Insuritas master agency to our clients. Today, under Paul’s leadership, Insuritas is recognized as one of the most ‘technology rich’ insurance agency platforms in America.

A native of Newcastle, England, Paul brings over 25 years experience in the IT industry. Paul has worked for a series of internationally recognized corporations, including Cabot Corporation, Employers Reinsurance, Rolls Royce, Parker Pen, Barclays Bank, and Volkswagen Audi, in the UK and Continental Europe as well as the USA. Since relocating to the United States in the late 1990s, he has been heavily involved in many aspects of the Insurance space including Property & Casualty, Life & Health, and Reinsurance. Paul gained valuable insight into the online marketplace as a founder of miQuotes.

Scott Strickland

Scott Strickland, SVP, Client Relations

Scott Strickland joined Insuritas in 2007 to lead client relations. Scott has overall responsibility for the design and installation of the Insuritas suite of insurance agency solutions for our clients. In addition, Scott works with our clients to modify workflows to maximize the delivery of high quality insurance referrals. Finally, Scott is responsible for managing for the deployment of all ancillary insurance products that are included in the Insuritas product suite.

Strickland joined Insuritas from the IAC Group, where he was Vice President of Sales Development. In that position his responsibilities included oversight for sales, training, and distribution of life insurance products in financial institutions. Prior to IAC Group, Strickland was Vice President and Regional Sales Manager for US Bancorp with insurance responsibility for the western United States.

Strickland received his M.B.A. from Baker University in 1992, and holds a B.S. Accounting from The University of Missouri – Columbia.
