Insuritas Announces Partnership with North Carolina Bankers Association

January 25, 2021 – Insuritas today announces it has partnered with the North Carolina Bankers Association (NCBA) to deliver turnkey digital insurance agency solutions to its member banks. The partnership will enable the NCBA to deliver a comprehensive suite of insurance agency options to member banks.

Jeffrey Chesky, CEO of Insuritas, noted; “We are delighted to announce our partnership with the NCBA. Under our agreement, the NCBA will coordinate several options for member banks to offer full service digitally engineered insurance agency solutions to the communities they serve.”

Under the agreement, Insuritas and the NCBA will offer three solutions for member banks.

First, the NCBA will help members launch wholly owned insurance agencies built on the Insuritas digital agency platform. These digital insurance agencies will be owned by the bank and offer the entire suite of insurance products retail and commercial customers need to manage risk. These agencies will allow the banks to own a turnkey insurance agency without the capital, execution and reputation risks that have been associated with buying or building a local agency.

Second, the NCBA will be creating an association owned insurance agency that member banks can invest in that will allow these community banks to offer their customers a full-service digital agency experience through a ‘white labeled’ association owned agency.

Finally, the NCBA will be providing advisory services to members that own existing insurance agencies. As banks are focused intently in building out their digital banking capabilities insurance products must be digitally enabled. The NCBA will coordinate efforts to build out digital divisions of existing bank owned agencies or facilitate the conversion of bank owned agencies to a fully digital platform.
