Jeffrey Chesky President & CEO

Mr. Chesky was the Founder & President of Banc Insurance Services, Inc., where he pioneered the design, installation, and outsourced management of insurance agencies for financial institutions nationally. BIS was purchased by Jack Henry & Associates, the nation’s leading bank core processing company in 2004. (JKHY – NASDAQ). In 2008, Mr. Chesky led a group of private investors in a buyout of BIS from Jack Henry, and renamed the company Insuritas.
Mr. Chesky also pioneered the development of the nation’s leading management consulting practice for insurance agency integration strategies for bank acquired insurance agencies post acquisition, called the Agency Integration Management Group.
Mr. Chesky has over 20 years’ experience in the banking and insurance fields. Over that time, he has served as a Senior Vice President of one of the nation’s 100 largest insurance agencies, Director of Institutional Investment Management at Mass Mutual Insurance Company, and Vice President of mortgage lending at both Fleet Bank and Bank of New England. Mr. Chesky also had the distinguished honor to serve on the White House staffs of President Jimmy Carter and Vice President Walter Mondale and on the personal staff of Governor Michael Dukakis.
Matt Chesky COO
Matt Chesky joined Insuritas in 2012 and as COO is responsible for IAPPEX, and that IAPPEX oversee the management of our clients, technology and agency platforms. Matt leads Insuritas as it launches clients, manages clients, sells policies and retains policies – all while providing a WOW experience as we look to continue our march to transform the insurance industry.
Prior to assuming his business development role Matt managed the deployment of Insuritas’ SmartCART™ Technology and virtual agency platform for our clients nationally.
Matt joined Insuritas after graduating from Yale University with a degree in Economics where he was also President of their chapter of the Sigma Nu fraternity and a member of the varsity soccer team.
Gregg Skipper Senior Vice President, Carrier Relations
In the position of SVP, Carrier Relations, Gregg Skipper leads Product & Carrier Relations for Insuritas. Our organic growth rates require someone to focus on carrier acquisition and management full time. Gregg has been with Insuritas since 2012 and will be based out of Austin.
Gregg has also served as an Executive with Superior Access, an online wholesaler for personal lines and commercial lines insurance. Prior to that, Gregg held several senior leadership positions with Mercury Insurance in TX.
Gregg is a graduate of Oregon State University; he resides in Cedar Park, Texas.
Laurie Pulsifer, VP Operations & Human Resources
As Vice President of Operations & Human Resources, Laurie Pulsifer is responsible for the operations, platform sales and human resources in the organization. She has led her group to increase platform sales year over year. Prior to joining Insuritas in December of 2011, Laurie worked at Prudential and MassMutual. She has over 12 years of Insurance experience leading Operations and Call Centers. Laurie is a graduate of Central CT State University.
Tracy O’Brien, CTO & SVP Digital Engagement
As Senior Vice President of E-Engagement, Tracy oversees the daily operation of the e-commerce experience and marketing efforts. Since embracing this roll in May of 2013, Tracy has successfully deployed the Insuritas solution to Overstock, implemented change controls for technical staff and led projects that have increased platform efficiency. Prior to joining Insuritas in October of 2011, Tracy was part of the online banking team with Financial Partners located in Agawam, MA. She has over 12 years experience in the technical arena ranging from programming to project management. Tracy is a graduate of Bryant University located in Smithfield, RI.
Mark Bornhorst, Controller
As Controller of Insuritas, Mark manages the day to day financial operations of the company, as well as setting strategy and direction with other members of the senior leadership team. Since joining in the Fall of 2011, Mark has been instrumental in building out the company’s financial reporting and modeling capabilities and helping to position the company for future growth. Previously, Mark was Product Management Coordinator at Weiss Ratings, an independent rating agency, overseeing product quality and maintenance. He holds a BS in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University.
Timothy Johnson, EVP, Corporate Sales
Timothy Johnson joined Insuritas in 2014. He leads our Corporate Sales Team – which is responsible for building new relationships with Financial Institutions across the US. With more than 11 years of sales leadership experience in the financial services industry, Tim has held key advisory and director roles – in both wholesale and retail – with banks, brokerage, and insurance companies. Tim is an accomplished professional whose career has been marked by his efforts to refine and hone business execution while bringing organizations to the next level of performance. Tim holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Lindenwood University.
